Zedge™ Wallpapers & Ringtones: Personalization App

ZedgeTM Wallpapers & Ringtones is a personalization app by Zedge that lets you find and set wallpapers, ringtones, alarm and notification sounds, and live backgrounds on your phone. Many people struggle to make a new device feel like their own, because stock backgrounds and default tones are plain and hard to change. This app solves that by gathering a very large library of artwork and audio in one place, then giving you simple tools to apply them. You can browse collections, search by mood or theme, and even describe an idea and let built-in AI tools generate a wallpaper or sound for you. It also supports favorites, so you can save items without downloading them, and a login that keeps your saved picks available across devices. The app is free to use, and it carries ads along with optional in-app purchases.

Key features

• Wallpaper browsing with full HD and 4K options plus many themed collections, from street art and urban artwork to science fiction, space and anime

• Audio AI that creates ringtones and notification sounds from a text prompt, a mood and genre, or a preset prompt

• Live wallpapers with video-style effects that play once when the home screen turns on, using a single download packet

Latest changes · 9.40.1

Version 9.40.1 brings performance improvements and a smoother overall experience across the app. Ad delivery and search results have been enhanced, along with better audio playback and landing pages, while AI creation features now offer improved wallpaper support. The update also fixes duplicated items, refines image aspect ratios, resolves account-related issues, and addresses minor bugs for greater stability.

This app suits beginners who want to change how their phone looks and sounds without learning complicated tools. If you enjoy browsing themed artwork, want a matching lock and home screen, or would like a custom ringtone made from a short description, the app gives you a guided path to do it. It is also a reasonable choice for anyone who likes collecting sounds and backgrounds and wants those picks to follow them to a new device through a login.

Start with a single category or search term rather than scrolling everything, and save items to favorites first so you can compare before applying. If you try the AI features, a short, specific prompt tends to give clearer results than a vague one. Check the permissions the app requests and the ad behavior during your first session so you know what to expect.

ZedgeTM Wallpapers & Ringtones bundles a wide range of wallpapers, sounds and AI creation tools into one free app, with ads and optional purchases as trade-offs. For a beginner who wants quick personalization, it is a practical starting point worth trying.
